On February 20th Life Maid Easy Burnaby sponsored the Muslim Food Bank at their Drive Thru Fundraiser. The event was a hit with 400 orders of delicious Mie & Ayam (Indonesian style noodles and chicken) sold out well in advance.

Life Maid Easy owner Harni is a devout Muslim and huge supporter of her community.  As an immigrant herself Harni is particularly active in helping those new to the country get acclimated.  Harni has also helped create job opportunities within her community and is always looking to give back.

About the Muslim Food Bank:

Founded in 2010, the Muslim Food Bank and Community Services Society (“MFBCS”) is a non-profit, charitable organization.

The Society is run by an elected, volunteer Board of Directors. The Board oversees the Executive Director, Management Committees, staff and volunteers who manage the day-to-day operations of the programs.

MFBCS is able to run its programs through donations of money and food. These donations come from individuals, small businesses and organizations as well as various fundraising efforts, such as our annual fundraising event or third party events run by other organizations.
