You have cleaned the glass from your oven doors from both the inside and outside but have you ever cleaned between both glass oven doors?

Grease and grime get wedged in that hard to reach place on a constant basis and most people aren’t sure how to clean it.

Here is a great tip on how to do so.

What will you need?

  • Ruler
  • Cleaning Wipes / Paper Towels
  • Rubber Bands
  • Vinegar

We recommend you use a ruler because it is both long enough to reach up inside the oven door and sturdy enough for you to move around in the tight space.

Soak the cleaning wipe in a solution made of vinegar and water.

Wrap the cleaning wipe around the ruler and use the rubber bands to hold in place.

Remove the bottom drawer of your oven and find the rectangular vent located on the oven door.

Some ovens have the vent on the top and bottom of the door while others feature a vent only on the bottom.

Insert your home-made cleaning tool through the vent and make sure there is enough space to be able to move it around, you do not want to risk it getting stuck.

If it is the right size, run the cleaning wipe along the dirty glass to clean off all the grime and grease.

You may have to replace the cleaning wipe a few times before your glass oven doors are fully clean.
