You’re cooking breakfast and you accidentally drop an egg onto the floor.
If this has ever happened to you, you know that it can be quite the pain to completely remove the raw egg from your floor.
Well no more of that, we have a great trick to use when cleaning up spilled eggs.
After picking up the bits and pieces of broken shell, cover the remainder of the spill with some table salt and let it sit for about twenty minutes.
The salt tends to fuse with the egg drying it out and making it much easier to clean up.
Once the twenty minutes are over, use a sheet of paper towel and wipe it right up without any problem.
Be sure to use some disinfectant afterwards to ensure the floor is 100% clean plus to help get rid of that raw egg smell that may remain on your floor.
