Make ‘Em Sparkle!

Aug 24, 2018 Chrissy

That perfectly shiny stainless steel is every homemaker’s dream. Well, that’s easy – all it takes is just hours tireless scrubbing and polishing. Maybe not! Stainless steel is the standard for kitchenware and equipment precisely because of its rust-free property. No one wants extra rust on their food, obviously. Stainless steel is also very stable and malleable. Stainless steel kitchenware and equipment looks sleek and professional especially when new. That’s the challenge for every homemaker – maintaining the quality of stainless steel tools and equipment.

Good news is that all it takes to keep that shine is found in our cupboards. Below is a simple guide on how to properly take care of our stainless steel tools and equipment:

Pots and Pans, Utensils

Spot Cleaning: make a paste with hot water and 2 tablespoons of baking soda. Use a scrubbing pad to cleaning and polish the stainless steel.

Tough Stains: soak the smaller stainless steel in a mixture of 1 liter of water and ¼ cup baking soda.

Toughest Stains: Make a paste out of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide, rub on the area. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes. Should you be needing to soak, use the ratio 1 cup hydrogen peroxide is to 2 tablespoons baking soda. Let it sit for at least an hour. Wipe clean.

Appliances and Bigger Equipment

Mix 2 parts vinegar 1 part cream of tartar. Either use. a spray bottle or simply wipe the mixture into the surface of the equipment. Wipe dry.

Note that baking soda also an abrasive, therefore use cream of tartar instead of baking soda.

Is there a minimum time for Move-out cleaning?

The reason we have a minimum time for Move-in/Move-out cleaning is because this is a more detailed service than a maid service. Above the regular cleaning checklist there are extra tasks which we focus on. Please check it here: http://www.lifemaideasy.com/services/move-in-out/. On top of that, we do want to mention that we offer time based services and if the cleaning service takes less, then we charge accordingly. We charge in 15 minutes increments.

Why do you clean in team of 2 people?

We found out from our experience that this is the fastest and the most efficient way of cleaning your home.
