How To Clean Your Mattress

Fortunately, taking care of a mattress can be quite easy as unless there is a spill or an accident you do not need to do much to care for it other than flip it around every few months.

It is highly recommended that every few months when you flip your mattress around that you also pull out the vacuum, attach the upholstery head and give the freshly flipped side a quick cleaning to get rid of any dust that may be stuck to it.

If your mattress is a few years old it may require a bit more cleaning every time you flip it around.

We have a great trick you can try out to keep it looking like new and always smelling fresh.

The trick is very simple, whenever you flip your mattress just sprinkle some baking soda over the entire surface and let it sit for about 30 minutes.

The baking soda helps to absorb odors and any moisture that may be lingering which would eventually cause mold and mildew to grow.

After the 30 minutes are up, pull out your vacuum, attach the upholstery head just like we had mentioned before and give it a good cleaning.

As easy as that you have given your mattress the cleaning it deserves and you can sleep easier knowing that it is as clean as clean can be.
